You can stop it from changing between 2D/3D clocks with Rivatuner. I'd try a bios update, see if that flushes out the problem, overclocking101.

Heck I use a GTX 260 65nm, 192. I play at 1920 x 1080 with 4xAA. It plays pretty much everything at high FPS no problem!

The card will do just fine. Probably the perfect card for the job.

I pretty much just said that.

Doesn't the card use a 1:2 ratio? Meaning whatever the Core is, the shader has to be double.

If you run games at 1920 x 1080 or higher with high levels of AA, overclocking the memory can really help. That's what I found anyway.

I've found that the driver before the latest drivers had better performance. In my opinion, that is the best one to get, although i'm not sure what the driver's number is. 197.46 or something.

Yeah, I spent weeks looking at other people's clocks to see what could be possible. I gave it a try quite a while ago and got these clocks no problem! It's only now I came across this great site and thread, and thought i'd share it with you all. It's currently summer for me, so I may leave it...

Hello! Voltage as requested. I'm sorry if this isn't the actual voltage. I can tell you now, though, that I haven't changed the voltages at all - no idea how or interested ;) It's 1:26am here and I am rather tired, so i'll probably try 800 on the core in a day or two. Thanks!

Hello there! New and all, and glad to be here. My GTX 260 overclock, 100% stable! No max overclock has been found as of yet (65nm version). Stock cooling, inside an Antec 900. Here are the results: Mighg try for 800 on the core ;) Thanks!
