Nvidia don't want to be making many FE cards! Lousey margin on those. They want to hand over card supply to AIB's as quickly as possible as that's where the real money is made. The FE card scam is not new for them and they only use it to look like they're not ripping you off too much when in...
It appears that AMD have got Nvidia covered this generation. They are not impressed by the 3090. Nvidia cannot beat AMD in a price war as they operate with a higher margin. I feel that 'big navi' will beat the 3080 and therefore can beat any 3070 and can do it at a lower selling price. They will...
I've been using a Benq Zowie XL 2730 1440p freesync for the last few years and it's a decent monitor. If they introduced an upgrade to this model with Dyac and 165 htz. and Gysync compatible, I would be interested. They seem lately to be obsessed with 1080p monitors which in light of the the...
Sick of EK jacking up their prices on everything. Need some more competition and distribution in this market as EK act like they have a monopoly. Same goes in the radiator space as well.
It's shocking in Australia as you can't get much else other than EK.
don't like them. Too complicated UI. Couldn't figure out how to disable every feature eg performance overlay. Adjusted performance manually per game and tried image sharpening loaded BFV, crashed fairly quickly. Restored Drive image with previous 19.12.1 drivers.
This typifies a lot of software...
Sounds good in principle, but my experience with Ryzen 3000 cpu so far has shown much better performance and lower temps from using an all-core over-clock and fixed voltage over any of the auto overclocking features currently implemented on zen 2. IME the current algorithms are using voltages...

As a long time BF player I advise people to not use i5 cpu's for this game. If you check out the BF1 pc forums you'll see hundreds of posts with 100% cpu usage and resulting lag problems using i5's.
Now I'm not saying you can't get em to run ok but BF1 and I guess BF5 ( seeing as they've listed...
No air-cooler can handle the heat of Vega when pushed to it's performance limits. It'll just throttle down.
You can get 1700+ clock speed but only stable with water cooling.
I'd steer clear of Vega air, unless you just want to run stock clocks with Freesync monitor. Even then there'll be a lot...
