That must be a tough decision to make. Release the game on an mostly unknown storefront and reap 88% of the profits or release it on Steam, and get 70%.
If I were THQ right now, I'd be praying the Epic Games Storefront picks up in popularity.
These are such huge ripoffs! You can just get a PCIe adapter/board. An mPCIe, expresscard or Pci-e adapter. a PSU and GPU of your choice and then make an enclosure or don't. They're basically charging $300 more for just the enclosure..
Well until we have competent quad cores in the $50 space, we'll have to make do.
I don't see that happening. It would be a very small niche market to invest billions in R&D into, that doesn't really make sense. The tablet fad has pretty much died and there's not much wiggle room for profits.
Lets not forget that this will be overclockable and that additional performance can be gained. Would be great for an ultra low budget PC with upgrade-ability in mind.
Loving the turn around! Amd just bitch slapped Intel! That's what they get for charging up to five times the price per core. At this point there's really no reason to even buy an Intel CPU unless you have a 1080 Ti and game at 1080p, which is just stupid to begin with. and absolutely no reason...
Obviously they haven't been that successful in turning the original Engine 27 into a product worth buying since they sold the license to Rosewill. Since reviews of the Engine 27 show that temperatures are around the stock Intel heatsink but at a much quieter 36.5 decibels, I just don't see the...
I'm talking about the actual circuit board, Not the plastic shroud.. Straight up based off of Fury nano. Also If you look at Clock for Clock performance of the Vega 64 vs. R9 Fury X you'll find a +/- 3fps difference in games... So yeah..
So from what I am seeing from the custom Vega's is that so far they are all base on the RX Fury Nano boards.. So we should expect a RX Vega Nano or at least a custom version of it?
Go AMD!
Wow! This is not that great of a card! AMD all the way for the sub-$200 market! There's No Sli support!? And at the price range its at you can get a way faster HD 7850 1 gb or dual 7750's in Crossfire with comparative performance towards a HD 7870! Nvidia's Terrible in their lower end...
