Try monitoring your temps on your laptop and see if high temps are messing with your system. I typically don't recommend runnign F@H on a laptop, even if it is stock. I couldn't tell if you were using Vista or Win7 on your laptop. If so, there have been issues in the past with installing...

That is my main rig. At any given time, the rig is also folding two GTX 285s, running various apps, recording television, etc.
