Searching for good replacement fans for my Antec 1200

*golfclap* ;P I just honestly don't get the whole silent cooling thing. I'm perpetually using either headphones or a high-powered sound system, so I can't hear my antec 1200 + optional fans even on high settings.

Searching for good replacement fans for my Antec 1200

To clarify: By "sound be damned", I mean I don't care in the absolute slightest how much noise they make. they can sound like a jet engine so long as they give the best cooling performance.

Searching for good replacement fans for my Antec 1200

I've seen one other thread on this, but what I'm actually looking for is quite different. A couple of the 120 fans on my 1200...one intake and one exhaust, are giving distressing clatters and rattles, and I may take this opportunity to just replace the lot of them. What I'm actually looking...

Possible Antec 900 (Pre-Revision) Filter Solution

Update For the time being, since I'm not sure how effective this material is going to be I went for the outside the box method. Fortunately, the filter is black so the visual impact isn't too glaring. I picked up some small velcro tabs and cut them into thirds along the width, and used those...

Possible Antec 900 (Pre-Revision) Filter Solution

I checked out the local Lowe's, and the closest I could find to something that might be usable is a sheet of polyurethane filter for window air conditioners, roughly $1.50 for a large sheet. It's essentially a thin layer of foam, 1/4 inch thick. I'm debating using it, not sure how much it'd...

Possible Antec 900 (Pre-Revision) Filter Solution

So recently I changed my power supply, and took the occasion to do a more thorough cleaning than I usually do, completely removing and cleaning out the drive bays and fans. ...yikes. While I keep the hardware itself clean in the main case area, the amount that manages to collect in those...
