I just found that I used pc 4200 ram and i need pc 8500 1066mhz. I think that was the problem. I am ordering it online so i should get it in a week. You guys think that was the problem.

Is it because I have shitty ram. I have 2 1gb pc4200 no brand ram sticks. So that may be the problem but would it cause my computer to shut off?
