CPU power is not always about low res's and such. Physics has been playing a big part in CPU power as well some games will eat CPU power for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and snack time. Synthetic yes at least in older 3D Marks, CPU really drives the scores. For me 06 with my old 8800GT...

They seemed decent, not the best of course but they looked comparable. I wasn't going to monkey with them really myself but even swapping coolers between the 2 cards didn't yeild any difference and still yet Card 2 is still hotter than Card 1 even with Card 1's original cooler.

Ah yes good one candle. 3Ghz clock speed yielded a 15-20FPS drop in FPS to me over a 4Ghz clock in Crysis. It could be a possible hang for you with that. I had phsyics on high so it be a little different for you.

Crysis and CF work perfectly fine. Surely it can get better as I've seen with driver releases already but its still a work in progress of course since they are quiet new. At 1920x1200, High, 64-bit, w/ DX9 in Vista and 650/1050 I can get 55FPS in the Benchmark. Single card was around 35FPS...

vpapanik: If its a pro bios should run at 475/450 default. Thats some messed up cards if there coming out like that. Definatly call and complain about it.
