Ohhh... This sounds quite promising! Shame most machine learning frameworks are written for cuda. Hope if this comes out, bigger frameworks like Tensorflow or PyTorch make use of it.
Hmm... I never had any Textures not loading when reducing the Texture Detail to Medium in Control (I think, I just know I didn't max it), whereas it was happening regularly while traversing the world at High/Ultra. (Also, VRAM utilization was always around 5.5gig, no matter what texture...
It depends. Remains to be seen how much of this Resize-BAR stuff is just hype or could be exploited for massive performance gains. With the consoles all sporting SSDs and a unified memory architecture, I certainly could see game engines leveraging the fast access to (V)RAM directly with the CPU...
Definitely a topic I would like to see explored. Also, next GPU I'm getting is gonna be one with lots of VRAM. I feel like the RTX 2060 is really held back by its small framebuffer, especially when enabling RTX. Had issues with texture resolution in both, Control and CP2077 (both times having to...
Pretty disappointing that the RTX 20-series won't get the feature. I'd assume especially a GPU like my 2060 with only 6GB Ram could really benefit from this.
I personally also feel very uncomfortable about the momentary Cryptocurrency hype... now this might ACTUALLY be marxist, but I really think the system needs some way to define an upper limit of possible mining by one actual person.
Otherwhise you will have the same unbalance as you've had...
Although HT helps more than even a hefty overclock in most recent games. Just see the comparisons between 2500K and 2600K various sites posted (e.g. Gamers Nexus)
Are you 100% positive your CPU runs at 1.360v?
CPU-Z only shows the CPU VID, that is the intel hardcoded value for each respective Multiplier. Set to Auto, Motherboards usually follow that value or slightly overshoot it, but at max Load vdroop might kick in and the CPU gets way less voltage...
Thanks for the answer but that's not what I asked for :ohwell:
Cat 10.9 has a bug with Powerplay that makes your card not perform optimally under Battery so it's a no go for me; besides I prefer going with Ati's official WHQL drivers, now that they go all the way to release some.
Anyhow, I...
Hey guys;
I'm sorry if I'm gonna go about bringing up an old and much talked about problem, but since the old workaround doesn't work anymore I'm having trouble with fixed aspect ration scaling again.
I'm on a Notebook with HD5650 Mobility and now the newest 10.8 drivers (since I read...
No, it most likely just means that you didn't notice it the first time you played through it and now that you noticed it for 1 game you start noticing it in all the other games. I'm almost 100% positive this is just normal Level of Detail; it's the Game-engine doing this, not some fault in your...
Wait, did you actually try to run it without battery? In my experience the main cause for a not booting laptop is a broken battery that causes a shortage. You should try to run the computer with the battery REMOVED and only the dc connected (sans battery!).
