There's a good chance they are made by the same manufacturer. A lot of companies that sell cases simply buy chassis and then put their own front bezel and brand name on the case. It's the same with video cards and stuff. There was a company at CeBIT (can't remember the name of them for my life)...

I've had my boards not even clear unless I've powered them on. Anyhow, that's the steps I do when setting a new system up. I "clear" the CMOS before I do anything else... How you clear it is up to you.
