I've seen the fake Nano's on ebay selling for about $60 shipped. They do state they aren't a nano but are very similar and was wondering what the difference between them is. Is the audio quality that much better with the genuine ones?

Try ATI's WinFlash and see if that will allow you to. Otherwise I belive you can use -f to force the flash in Dos. I've never heard of a bios been locked and unable to accept a rewrite.

I was wondering if its possible to flash the X1800XL into a full fledge working X180XT? If so is all you need to do is make sure it can handle the XT speeds and then flash the bios? Thanks and what performance gains are we taling here after the flash.

Isn't that possibly bad to run a bios built for 1.6ns memory when I actually have 2.0? If not would I gain any performance from using that bios instaed of just O'C both the core and memory to XT PE speeds?

Well I'll see what I can get out of it, but whats the point? Why do I have to come close to 560? That still wouldn't help as far as flashing the card to XT PE because I have the 2.0 memory and all those bios's have 1.6ns memory.
