Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 mini review and support

This review was a lifesaver, you might recall my problem in this thread. In my 4 day long project (don't laugh, I do have to make a living :(), I did exactly as OnBoard did in the review posts, hacksawed my way trough, and I thought I'd post some updates. I also had to modify my Antec Sonata...

Well, I can't do it yet. I'll post any changes after I take a closer look at the card later today. Feel free to post any other advice you might have, beside RMA or opening it up I'm out.

Idle With FurMark Both taken with normal room temp or <20. The card is blowing out heat, not burning but still kinda warm, imo too warm compared to my X1950 XT.

Tried again, the first GPU temp peaked 92 and the 2nd 83. PCB temp was 55. Fan speed 100% and VDDC Voltage 1.1875. edit: again, window open

Okay, I might've read RivaTuner wrong. Should I be reading Snesor supply voltage, Voltage regulator output or something else? I tried playing ME again (window open right next to me) and the core temps went up to 90 C, cooler was on 100%, VRM phase temperatures were all around 60C under load.

The software sure looks nice, but I couldn't find a voltage meter, not even talking about controlling it.

The voltage is stable 3.36 edit: drops to 3.35 in-game, but I doubt that matters.

    Evga GTX280 temperatures

Hi. I've just bought my first Nvidia card, the GTX280, and I must ask, are these cards as hot as they've told to be? I have 73 celcius core temperature idle on desktop and when I've tried to play newer or "more demanding" games, such as Crysis with all-high and Mirror's Edge with maxed...
