Tower coolers would be a tight fit for sure, but not that bad really. The only problem I had with my build (Asus Z77 ITX and Thermalright HR-02) was getting to the fan headers between the CPU socket and rear I/O ports. VRM board on one side, I/O ports on the other, and a mass of heatsink above...

Caselabs is probably the closest to what you described there, although you need to customise it. Or build your case from lego! :rockout:

No heatpipes? Still, assuming that the larger heatsink and extra fan perform notably better than the little reference cooler, it would be near silent at both idle and load. Over engineered in a good way IMO. Perfect for near silent PC's, the kind that use <400RPM 120mm case fans and SSD only...

Looks like you can install fans in the top section of the case, above the mounting holes. So if that is a 38mm EK rad, with 25mm thick fans, then you should be able to install a ~63mm thick rad, with a single set of fans above it.

Old hardware that cost big time money, and it's more cost effective to get a new motherboard with legacy ports, than to replace the expensive hardware. Or something along those lines. I guess a serial/parallel-port-to-USB adapter would have to be incompatible/unsuitable as well?

Hopefully it's solid enough to prevent most vibration. Nice to see the 5.25" bays are removable, and that more 3.5" drives can be installed in their place. Presumably the case comes with the extra 3.5" trays (?), as the specs sheet lists support for 9x 3.5" drives. Also looks to be enough room...

Simple and effective. I do like those individual 3.5" trays, and how there are no bulky cages to impede airflow from the front intake fans. Just a shame that there's no bottom 120/140mm fan mount. :( Also, just a random related tidbit. Note how the PSU intake vent is shaped. There was a comment...
