Got the A8-3870K to review, but the A55 Pro3 died so had to get a new one. Opted for the Gigabyte A75-UD4H. Overclocking-wise it kicks ass, have managed DDR3-2445MHz so far, with 2500 getting to Windows Loader (skipped testing 2475 for now). Write performance of the board is horrible though...

The thing that the drivers do is look at two things: First for the chip (Device IDm or DEV_), in your case ALC892, then at the Subsystem ID (SUBSYS_).
