What's the Vcore you set in BIOS? (CPU-Z reading may not be accurate). I don't have that much luck on Crosshair VI Hero as compared to my MSI X370 Xpower.

Instead of Tri-SLIng the GTX280, I personally would just go SLI + OC.

I tried the SMP client on i5 and I find that it's just not worth the PPD considering the processor takes up 100w even without OCing. that's like 3k+ PPD per 100w. a low powered 9600GT could do the same for half the wattage.

yes, get the GDDR3 version. :) performance is between 9500GT and 9600GT I'd say.

I'm running the -forcegpu ati_r700 command and while F@H powers up, it keeps reporting UNSTABLE MACHINE. :( sad.
