GeForce GTX 460 Pricing Surfaces, Gets Listed in EU

If it comes out around the same speed and price point as a 5830 then nVidia finally have a card this gen worth considering.

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

See I can't see it being a faulty board as it's perfectly solid running at 800MHz DC, or 1066MHz single stick. Both with pass as many loops of Prime/IBT/LinX as you throw at it, and will game all day long no problem. It's only when you try to go above 800MHz with two sticks that it throws...

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

Well, bad news, 103 flashed, but still won't boot over 800MHz with 2 sticks. Single stick does 1066MHz no fuss, put a 2nd in and bam, black screen and no boot. *sigh* Must just be a compatibility issue with the memory I have, it's rather odd though as it's not like Corsair is some...

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

New BIOS out for this shuttle that is meant to fix the DDR3 support issues (not being able to go over 800MHz). Going to give it a try this evening and will report back with results!

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

From what I can tell the internals are pretty much exactly the same as previous Shuttle chassy that i've used, same drop in drive bay (1x5.25 + 2x3.5), PSU in the same place etc etc. Only difference I can see is that the CPU socket isn't central (like it would be normally on an ICE cooled...

New motherboard to fit the Phenom II X6

Just so you know the 2006 bios adds full BIOS OC support for the X6's on the M4A785TD-M :toast:

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

Well finally got round to putting all this together over the weekend. In the end I ended up using an Arctic Cooling Alpine 7 Pro (as I got it free :p ), and it just fits. Like, just, so if you are wondering what is the absolute max height for a cooler in one of these, that is it. Anywho...

New motherboard to fit the Phenom II X6

You don't have to, you get your settings, then just tell it to apply on windows startup. Just like you would with a GPU overclock. So your system boots at standard clock speeds, then as soon as it gets into windows AOD kicks in and knocks it up to whatever you have chosen. Works a treat :)

New motherboard to fit the Phenom II X6

They don't have OC'ing bioses, but you can clock the X6 fine using AMD Overdrive on the M4A boards. Had mine up to 4GHz no fuss.

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

You'd be suprised. On the shuttle site they have a HD5850 on the list of supported cards! The spec of the one i've got is currently: E7200 2.53GHz 3MB + Stock Cooler 4GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz CAS9 WD Caviar Blue 1TB Sony 24x DVD-RW Sapphire HD4850 512MB (Dual Slot) I'll report back...

Shuttle XPC Barebone SG41J1 Now with DDR3 Memory Support

Picked one of these up a couple of days ago. They are a good little barebones unit. Just be warned these don't come with the ICE cooling, so you will need to find a low profile HSF to fit in there. I'm currently using the stock Intel cooler as a tempory measure, but I'm going to see if I...

ASUS M4A785-M ---Bios update for new 6 core CPU's

ASUS 785's have had X6 support for a while now, i've been running a 1090T on my M4A785TD-M since release day, and i'd flashed the bios with X6 support a good week or so before the X6's even hit the shelves. Full mobo support list here: http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/m4_6cores/ Be warned...

programs for OC HIS HD 5770

However if it is non-reference then you probably won't be able to use voltage adjustment, and the chances of getting 1GHz core without it are slim to none.

New bios for Asus CH III on ftp site

1.475V is the 'Turbo' voltage, so for some reason your CPU is ramping up to Turbo VID even though it's supposedly disabled... If you look at Core #0 on your second pic it has been turbo'd up to 4.1GHz.
