Agreed, but in those games, upscaling is the best visual experience, so it's better than the "native" presentation. It's just semantics though, & I rush you could just disable the built-in TAA!

This sounds like one good news, especially a native res XeSS AA mode! DLAA is by far my preferred of all these upscalers, at the worst performance of course, but it can look great in some games. I look forward to some in depth articles & comparisons!

Sure, unless you travel a lot. If you're getting planes or trains a lot, regularly working away from your office, regularly staying in hotels or places you don't have a mouse, keyboard & monitor ready to go, then a laptop is by far the easiest thing to carry & can give you a good work & gaming...

I pretty much agree with everything you said. There must be benchmark comparisons somewhere, to Google!

I'm really curious how this stacks up against the handhelds with effectively the same chip at a much lower wattage, especially in gaming. I haven't had a look for that comparison yet, I'm wondering how close my Legion Go gets for desktop use.

I went from Steam Deck to the Legion Go. What do you want to know? Windows means you can play any game on any launcher, or indeed not on a launcher at all. However with Windows comes a constant need to tweak graphics settings to get something playable & no amazing sleep & resume capability like...

I love that this is an option these days, so much power in such a tiny space. My reservations are the same as everyone elses; for a similar price you can get a laptop or handheld which both have other large advantages such as screens. Still, for the right use cases, this would be great.

Ah it really is a shame the UK price is so ridiculous for the 32" 4k 240Hz QD-OLED. If it was under £1k as you'd expect from the US price then I'd have bought one already, & got myself a free game to sell on :p nah I might have actually played this one if it was free & the microtransactions...

But Luna runs on many platforms, it's not really PC gaming as such, it's just not console gaming. I guess you could argue that they're running the PC game on their end still, which I guess they wouldn't do if PC gaming didn't exist... Anyway, this sounds great, I think Luna is free to Prime...

Bahahaha, absolutely perfect! Yeah I'm not seeing any big price movements in the UK. I can't imagine people are rushing out to buy at the moment, what with inflation & all that jazz hitting our pockets.
