Of course its standard, never said it wasn't. It's being implemented to nVidia standards right now on PC though. I personally just expect an RT on/off toggle in the future with "special" extra effects for nVidia.

I feel like this is why Nvidia rushed their RT with the 20 series so people would say this. Them being first to market allowed them to set a certain benchmarking floor. The problem is like all nVidia tech, support is limited and generally requires their involvement or investment to implement...

Most people shoot for 60 fps which is why Sandy is still so popular. Personally don't care how good current CPUs perform. I don't care about 100+ fps.

What's wrong with 1080p? If you like smaller monitors its great, you don't need to waste money on GPUs. Personally hate large monitors for gaming.

The 3GB 1060 has less hardware. If both 1060s had identical specs other than the VRAM perfromance wouldn't change much for the majority of games.

I don't believe the power consumption is an issue with this class of card unless you're running a tiny it build or something. It's not 290/390 territory. It is a nice selling point to say it's more efficient but in reality I don't really think people care when the card is under gaming load...

Game changer? I love AMD but the only thing that matters is raw performance to everyone but huge nerds and power usage to some and really doubt Vega is going to trump top end Pascal, let alone anything nVidia has waiting. Since the VAST majority of PC gamers are going to top out at 1070ish...
