Exactly, I was gonna pick up a 4870 eventually but now it looks like I'm gonna go with a GTX260 since I have an SLI mobo and the option to upgrade is always nice. Very sweet that this $450 launch card is now $250 though :D

Had the beta on my eeePC and it was great. Fun OS once you learn it.

both actually run 1080p at max, which is 1920x1080 they don't need near as much power since games are optimized for exactly the same hardware

I was really surprised at how well it ran, running an 8800gts and e6550 and it didn't seem to go below 30 hardly ever given that it was a slide show on my amd 3200 and 7800gs I was prepared to only be able to go to medium with my 8800 but it held its own at high.

you'll pry struggle at that res, especially in dx10

pretty sure this will be my next card :D now I just have to upgrade my cpu ram and mobo in order to get it haha

I got in the multiplayer beta and it was pretty much unplayable for me, 7800gs and AMD 3200 couldn't handle it on the lowest settings at 800x600 sad but at least I know I don't have to waste money on the final game

for me it just seemed to reduce stuttering, didn't really give me more frames, although my computer kinda sucks only running an athlon 64 3200+, 7800gs, and 2 gigs of ram

they did smooth out my performance on vista though, the game runs far too well on my system given how well it looks. the only problem I'm having is that I am getting stuttering and crackling audio.

there is a cracked version available on the creative forums :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Mod:The fact that Creative allows cracked stuff on their forums doesn't mean we do.

The thing is though that when you agree to the EULA (the one on xbox live) you agree to not use a modded console. When you break the EULA microsoft has every right to ban you since you didn't hold up your side of the agreement.
