Hello, I'm using a 1GB (Single) Geil DDR2-800 memory. I don't know why Everest couldn't detect the memory correctly. The timings are 5-5-5-15. The memory is not overclocked (still at 800MHz) but the processor is, :). I used Everest Ultimate Edition 2006 (version 3.50.761). insect111

The first thing that they'll tell you is to get a motherboard that allows overclocking. But if you don't want to do that, there are tools you can use to overclock inside Windows. I'm also waiting for SysTool to support the IDT CV174C chip, :).

Hello Intel Rep, The software we've been talking about recently was able to overclock our boards with the IDT CV174C PLL. If you want to build a 'high end' system, you are better off with a motherboard other than an Intel DG965WH. You may want to use the Intel 975XBX2 or one of those...

Here's my Intel Pentium D 945, wasn't able to reach anything higher than 4.4GHz, I get random restarts. I only have a 450W no good PSU though I'm not sure if it's the one stopping me from overclocking any higher. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=158459
