    Apple Announces 7.9-inch iPad Mini

They have such a HUGE fanbase that they could have started the cheapest mini model off @ $400 & would have still made a ton of money. I have people in my own family who are so enthralled with Apple products that they'll buy anything with an Apple logo on it.

Console Porting is killing PC Gaming PQ.

Sucks. I remember when developers started dropping LAN support from their games. LAN parties were a big thing 10 yrs ago & way fun, hell I even remember when ppl would hook up a few vanilla Xboxes & play Halo, now nobody does that any more. Everything is online now.

MegaUpload.com Shuttered: One Month 'Black March' Media Boycott Slated For March 1st

Even though I can't ever see something like this happening, if it actually did happen wouldn't it only hurt retailers?

AMD Still Committed To x86 - But Not In High End Desktop

I'm a little confused, does this mean that AMD will stop production of all PC CPUs? The first article it just sounded like they were stopping production of server processors like the Opteron.

Ideas for bandwidth management at home

^^^ From what I see in the screenshot this is exactly what D-Link routers offer aside from your specific traffic management from the wired ports on the router. Most of my users are wireless connections, if they were all wired then i'd probably have bought a cisco switch by now and have been done...

Ideas for bandwidth management at home

I've read for hours on the internet about possible solutions to my scenario and have yet to come up with an affordable & likeable solution. My dilemma is I live with 3 other ppl who use the internet heavily to download big files (torrents) & it's not an option for me to just block torrent...
