CTS-Labs Posts Ryzen Windows Credential Guard Bypass Proof-of-concept Video

No, it is not serious. If you are already in a privilidged shell, nothing else matters anymore. Not the OS, not the CPU. The system is yours. With or without flaws. And I expect a well regarded website like TPU to point that out to readers.

That NUC kit costs 1.000 US-Dollar. Case closed.

AMD Radeon RX 560 vs. GTX 1050

I'm extremely disappointed. I have written Advertorials myself - and they have always been clearly marked in a way that can't be overlooked. Also none of them have been in the form of a review, which by itself is ridiculous. A review, written by the company that pays for the advertorial and...

AMD Wants You to Choose Radeon RX 470 Over the GTX 1050 Ti, For Now

Really? How many have you bought? I can't remember a single card that had a better price/performance ratio than the similar AMD offer. It makes sens for Nvidia, yes, but not really for the customer. Except when you need the fastest available card NOW... and in this case, financial sense has gone...

AMD Wants You to Choose Radeon RX 470 Over the GTX 1050 Ti, For Now

LOL. Yes, who needs comparisons or slides. All customers know all data telepathically... those cards are for the mass market, not for nerds who know the difference between CUDA cores and Stream Processors etc. Ever heard of... advertising? It seems to work for some products.

    NEW Super PI 1m scores

Mission accomplished :) The CPU-Z voltage is off, though. It's actually close to 1.39 V.

Yes, I hope this CPU can break the magical 5 GHz barrier with watercooling :)

Here's mine. Not done overclocking yet, still waiting for my watercooling setup to arrive.

Really new to water cooling, I need some ball park spending figures

I don't know if this is available in your area, but this is worth a look: http://www.raijintek.com/en/products_bycategory.php?CategoryID=1&SubCategoryID=24 Very good prices around here and expandable!

    NEW Super PI 1m scores

I'm a bit late to the party, but new system, new benchmarks. My 6700K seems to be a really great specimen - this is with air cooling (Alpenfön Brocken 2) and a quite low voltage fot that speed. Stable with Intel Burn Test, too. And yes, watercooling with 360 rad is on the way, so maybe a stable...

Scientists find a way to see and manipulate 'quantum motion'

Since we don't "know" much at all, all we can say is: the part of our universe we can see is at least around 14 billion years old. One step further and speculation begins. We don't know how big, how old, if our part is "normal" or "exotic" in a larger finite/infinite...

Valve starts censoring Steam private chat messages mentioning one particular "pirate" site

Nope. They provide services for different countries and some countries still have very tough privacy protection laws. Just because you are using the chat doesn't mean Steam is allowed to listen in and delete messages.

Editorial Windows 8.1, and Why You Should Let Go of Windows 7

I'm using Windows 8 as a heavy desktop user. I'm self-employed, working on the PC using mostly desktop programs and if Windows 8 would be worse than Windows 7 for that, I wouldn't use it. It's my money and my time that would be wasted. What totally makes me want to do a giant facepalm are...
