Yup it still works with out plastic dip but soon I would use CLU as my thermal paste, plastic dip is for protecting it from shorting out.

I the first place I really don't need to put any tin or silicon on the VRM because I am using noctua nt-h1 wich is non conductive. I just want to know what is the best way to cover the VRM if I use CLU. I have seen lot of suggestions in other forums like nail polish, liquid electric tape...
