    Need testers with i910, i915 or G45

I have a laptop with a GM45 chipset and an integrated Intel X4500. Does that work?

    Love the GPU-Z

Then it probably doesn't have a temperature sensor on it. You can try the other method that Mussels suggested, touching the heatsink.

    Love the GPU-Z

Those are the readings. Look for one called GPU Temperature or GPU Temp.

    GPU-Z 0.3.2 Bug Report

If you mean that the GPU clock speed is reported as 650MHz, and as 500MHz under the sensors tab, I presume that to be correct behaviour. The GPU info listed on the first tab are the reported specs of the card, not the current clock speeds. That's what's reported in the sensors tab.

    Love the GPU-Z

Read a couple days ago that it's triggered when the OS doesn't get a reply from the video card for a certain amount of time. It's then assumed to have frozen, or the the drivers have frozen, and they're then restarted. Neat little tool.

    GPU-Z is great , but ..

Uh... Have you ever thought of changing the executable name yourself when a new version comes out? And where did you shortcut it from? GPU-Z is a standalone executable, not an installed program.

    Bug Report: GPU-Z 0.3.1 and HD4870

All right, that's fine. However, the driver version still applies. Different Catalyst drivers might behave differently than others. So even if the version of CCC is asked, the driver version is what's needed.

    Bug Report: GPU-Z 0.3.1 and HD4870

If you don't have CCC, what are you using for graphics drivers? Or did you just install the driver without the control centre?

    Bug Report: GPU-Z 0.3.1 and HD4870

Confirmed, the fix works. Using Windows 7 beta x64 with Catalyst 8.12 Win7 beta drivers, detects my overclock. Thanks W1zzard.

    Bug Report: GPU-Z 0.3.1 and HD4870

I blew out my power supply a couple days ago (not by overloading it), but I'll have a replacement by Saturday. I can check the build then.

Sensor Problem - GPU-Z Readings on Sapphire HD4870

Huh. And here I was thinking my 780/990 overclock was good. Anything over that starts producing artifacts in ATITool's checker.

Sensor Problem - GPU-Z Readings on Sapphire HD4870

Hmm, I didn't realize the standard cards had 4 red LEDs, normally off. I just took the 3 green LEDs to mean that everything is all right. I suppose it's possible Sapphire chopped off some sensors to fit the cooler on. Frankly, I'm fine with the cooler temperature if it means I can't verify the...

Sensor Problem - GPU-Z Readings on Sapphire HD4870

I believe there was a major redesign in AMD/ATI's graphics cards around the HD3xxx series, especially with the move to the 55nm process. It's possible they dropped the voltage sensors in there, because voltages should stay the same on the card anyway. As for any other sensors, I haven't noticed...

    Bug Report: GPU-Z 0.3.1 and HD4870

Well, I still haven't gotten around to installing older drivers, but I can confirm the problem still exists on Windows 7 beta with ATI's Win7 beta drivers. 0.3.1 shows the default clocks, 0.3.0 shows the changed clocks.

Sensor Problem - GPU-Z Readings on Sapphire HD4870

What version were you using before? Because I've got a Sapphire HD4870 1GB, and it doesn't show voltages on 0.3.1 or 0.3.0.
