i have the same issue on my sapphire 6950 OC edition ( came with dirt 3) this card got 2 switch on it. i tried to flash with the switch away from Crossfire. tried RBE, winflash and DOS mode ATIflash. all flash claim success but still see 1408 shader. also tried reinstall drive it didnt work...

Main reason I want to upgrade is, when I stream 1080p movie over my ps3 (wired network) I get stutter sometimes. 720p movie I don't have much issue. Since ps3 do not support mkv server need to decode it to view on ps3. I found that my cpu is not enought. Not sure if quadcore would help.

did you flash the bios of the card or is on default? if default this sounds like a bad card. your PSU should have more then enough to support this card.

I was having problem with unlocking my powercolor 6950. got the cannot erase rom msg. I tried the command in cmd did not work. but after i try using wizards unlock package script he posted it work flawless. if anyone having issue unlock should definitely try that.
