hello, i'am looking to upgrade my cheap syba raid controller from my server, for a sas controller o a good sata controller, the purpose of this server is acounting, and planned backups of other acounting, so i would like to be able to add a stripe boot disk and a raid 5 setup for backups PS...

try replacing the thermal pad with some copper shims and a good thermal compoun, that should help

as void said, it comes down to aesthetics, they are pretty much head to head in performance xspc block and ek block but on pumps, go with the d5 type, theres even xspc reservoirs with that tipe of pumps so for me xspc has a better selection on pumps than swiftech, don't get me wrong I'm not...

if your are starting, one pump its ok, besides that d5 has a lop of power to push trough multiple blocks and radiators

XSPC 360 kit user here, believe me, it cost 100 more than a h100i but defenitily so much better, you can expand later to motherboard cooling and graphics cooling, its a pretty good starter kit

I would go the amd road those A10 hva a punch andif you need the extra horse power for games you can crossfire
