I'va tested several Bioses and any 128MB Bios produces the display problems I've described. Any 64MB Bios works out ok, but because it is a 9500 Bios it is a lot slower than a 9700.

Hi, I've had a problem with my Radeon 9700 non-Pro 128MB. The image was full of blue and red dots. After several 'experiments' I came to the conclusion that a part of the memory on the card is not working properly. I flashed a 9500 non-Pro 64MB Bios on my card and the image is ok now...
