Clean Install Like many, an upgrade is not a good option. A clean install is. Will this download be an ISO (burn a DVD or USB Key)?

Keep in mind the drive is using SLC and not MLC. SLC chips are twice the price.

Is it RAID-1??? 2*1.5TB in RAID-0 should give 3.0TB??? Or is it 2*750GB???

Simply install the Driver and will replace the current one (from Microsoft or Intel).

This is not really a consumer product, unless you are rich. It is really cheap for a business to have this kind of power. We got an FusionIO drive for our database and really fast. Which regular home user need that much speed? 1.5GB read per sec??? Even you get one, you will probably never...

Very few people need a a big fast HD to store other than their OS, applications and games. Pictures, documents and music can fit nicely on a regular big, cheap and slower HD. Who really need such a big SSD other than company? I also agree that 100$ is way too much and should be included...

They think they will sold millions of it? The price won't be cheap. Can you boot from it?

Hi, I used to have a RAID-0 of 2 regular HD with Vista. I added a new Intel G2 SSD and installed Win 7. If I understand properly, I will not be able to use the TRIM feature because of the BIOS being in RAID mode. Right? I do not care any longer of my old RAID and would like to change...

I would go with the new intel SSD. I got the 180GB @ 549$CAN.

I finally found information about the reason. There are issues about the new firmware. Here the link : http://www.intel.com/go/ssdfirmware/. If you already upgraded, keep a good backup just in case!
