Yeah, but Prescott was the same for both sockets. Nehalem has a 3 Channel Integrated Memory Controller in the CPU die so it needs at least 3x240 pins only for the Memory Controller. That's why it needs a new socket and heavily modified motherboards.

I tryied the driver and the new purevideo decoder and it doesn't work. All I can get is MPEG2 acceleration. The h264 videos coded with x264 and Nero AVC won't start with the nvidia dshow filter!
