that´s something i don´t wanna do. i want to run the lowest p-state to safe energy. there must be a way to get this working without having to up the mem clocks when the card is idle.

i´m owner of a 5970 for two days now. and the first thing i was confronted with, was the flickering when opening windows or scrolling on webpages. i downloaded the latest 10.4preview catalyst and the flickering was gone, even at 157/300. but it comes back everytime the clocks change from 2d...

method 2 is working fine on my ASUS EAH5970. upped the ccc limit to 1250/1800 took a little time for me to understand how rbe1.25 works... all i really changed in my bios was the vgpu register and the ccc-limit. card is working nice now on 930/1100 with 1.15vgpu for 24/7 usage.

good old 3dfx!! my first 3d card ever is pinned at my wall and collects dust. it´s a diamond monster 3d. the first gen of 3dfx cards afaik. i don´t even remember at what clocks the gpu was running ;) but i know that it has 4mb of ram. NO heatsinks on the gpu or ram, i´ll take a pic of it...

almost all xt´s reach that core speed... almost... no gpu is like the other. just what i said... u can have an opteron165 that can do 3ghz and an opteron185 that tops out @2,9ghz. does that justify the higher price of the 185? or does it mean the 185 passed tests that the 165 didn´t? the...

i don´t know what it is, that makes everybody think the cores or the rams on the pro are "failing" some tests. it´s just the same thing they do with cpus. an amd opteron165 doesn´t fail any test that an opteron185 will pass. it´s just the multiplier of 9 that makes it an opteron165. all in all...
