ah, you know what I mean...the 2560x resolution monitors...that would prolly justify a second 7970.

Half the side view that you didn't have in BF2, but have gotten used to in BF3... 65 degrees is 65 degrees. You went from 65 to 85, got used to it in spite of "things getting smaller" (more things on the same screen!), and now you can't live without the extra 10 degrees of vision on either...

Meh...a minor, but important reason that I shelled out for a 7970 when it was brand new is future-proofing. I'm skipping this generation...and the next three! :toast:

That would be nice...personally, I use core temp to tell me when to clean the intakes on my ATSC 840, since I don't need to OC.

I have an XFX black 7970...it's supposed to OC pretty well, not that I've bothered...I only really play BF3, D3, and Civ5, so my framerates are fine as-is.

You might superglue some wedges to the back of a K810...I'm about to get a K800...I might have to do that myself (the wedges), my K700 is wearing out. I'm not as concerned about size, but it is annoying that you can't get a backlit wireless keyboard with mechanical switches...for any price.

I realize how old this thread is, but I can't resist. This is absolutely inane. Yes, manufacturers have a reason for making only wired, never wireless, peripherals for gamers. It's called supply and demand. Gamers demand wired, that's the only reason. They're not trying to deliver the best...
