i highly doubt your psu fails because of a USB thumb drive... also, i beleive if it was a PSU problem your PC would not freeze but rather reboot itself or shutdown completley.

I doubt it, its the stock dell PSU that came with my Dimension 8400 in 2005. no problems whatsoever, which is surprising since it says 500w req on my box :eek:

i can run 730core / 1000 memory (2000 real) stable, but since thats the max limit mine can handle, i put it 10 lower to be on the safe side. stock cooling on a 350w PSU too :)

UPDATE: got my 8800GS XFX (normal version). First of all the box was squished on one of the corners, and the anti static Video card bag had a small (but noticable) hole in its side (wtf?) luckily the card is 100% ok. Put the card in before changing its fan to see if it worked. Turns out...

I read on new egg someone put a Zalman on their 8800GS, and when I looked on the supported cards list of that model, the 7900GS was on there too. Does this mean the 7900 fan will work on the 8800?
