I am using hwinfo right now, will try with hw-monitor. Could it be a CPU with some internal errors maybe? I mean, malfunctioning CPU?

I tried and that several times - no changes. Is there a software to see if the cpu is damaged or motherboard temperature sensor ?

did not manage to try somewhere else..but I did find some CI switch on my motherboard, have to see what does it mean?

voltage for the core is the same every time..I saw a video on youtube how to separate chip from metal box etc. but first I will try with some spare parts (psu, motherbord...). will answer here in next 6 hours.

I do not posses that kind of magic :). I have switched sempron/athlon like 20 times, but no luck..I updated BIOS to the latest version. I have been in 3 stores today, they all mentioned same thing - temperature sensor is broken/damaged/not working properly. Do not know what to do anymore...

no vodka :) the cooler is original for athlon..i am hearing noise from CPU, like it is working something, like when loaded but only firefox is turned on. I am from Croatia.

no,there is no sticker at the bottom. the cooler stays firmly, it is the same cooler (new stock cooler for amd athlon x2 64 5000+ ) I used on sempron 3400+ and it cools him well, but not athlon..

wrong..still getting high temperatures..it loads one core to almost 100% a the other one nearly 10-20%, so i guess that could be the problem maybe??:banghead:

ok, new cooler, new thermal paste and still got the issue. but this time after few minutes it just start to rise temperature til 105°C and shutdown :(. When i put back sempron together with the new cooler, temp are not over 45°C
