I've just ordered a 2nd 8800GT for some SLI action. My current 8800GT is an evga card at the normal 600mhz speed, and this zotac one is 660mhz core. I checked a faq on 'slizone.com' first: So I think this setup should be ok, can people confirm that the cards with different clock speeds...

*Updated* Is there a way when you update your case mod post for it to bump back up on the main Gallery page ? I swear some people's cases bump back up when they get updated, or am I imagining things?

I agree with you there, though somtimes you have to jump through a load of hoops to convice the ati support person that its a problem with their driver. I had problems with the 2D/3D clock switching on 7.5 (that where fixed in 7.6), but ati support where telling me my hardware could be faulty...

Is that your tv tuner card or your graphics card? E.g. I've got an HIS 2900 XT and a Hauppage PVR 500 tv tuner card.

Thats the original beta driver release for the HD2900 that supercedes 7.5. I found it to be quite a buggy driver in terms of game stability.

You can force the resolution to re-appear by adding it in with 'powerstrip'. (Google 'powerstrip custom resolutions').

I'm not sure I'd worry about the memory reading in dxdiag too much. With my HD2900 XT 512mb it says: "Approx. Total Memory: 1275 MB" Yay!
