What? Why not? HDMI 1.4 currently supports 4096x2160 @ 24Hz. That's just to show how much bandwidth it has available. What's wrong with HDMI? Why isn't it suited to gaming? :wtf:

But why would you go for a GTX 480M when you could go for 2x5870s in CF, which are cheaper, consume less power and perform better? Sorry, maybe I shouldn't have used hot. Although it might not get hot, it still consumes very large amounts of power for a mobile part. 100W for the GTX 480M/485M...

Erm, I'm talking about the Mobility 5000 series? If anything, the 6000 series will be more efficient and powerful. The problem with Fermi is that it's hot and expensive. While on the desktop market that may be fine (and also not being expensive on the desktop front either), in the mobile market...

Yeah. AMD have NVIDIA beat in the mobile department. The BEST example is 2x5870 vs a GTX 480. The 5870s perform better, use less power and cost less.

Erm they don't. They'll begin sampling in about end of 1H 2011 / beginning of 2H 2011. And Bulldozer is a CPU, not a GPU. And it was delayed on purpose. It was meant to be released in 2009 on the 45nm fab process, but then got delayed to 2011 to be on 32nm fab process because AMD believe that...
