The House rental is not a good example since if you rent a house eventually they will need to return in to you. Imagine you sell a house to someone but rent the paint. whoever buys the house is limited to whatever paint you chose and if you decide to change it they just have to live with it...

why does it say HD? it's not full HD it's only 1366 on 768. you could run 720P on that but the ASUS 1101HA is 1366 on 768. i sure do love the better CPU but the only real improvement i see it the ION graphics, now with the flash 10.1 thingy you could run HQ flash but everything else seems just...

Who needs a P55 board for a budget build? :confused: the only place i see this fiting in to is the OEM market. well actually..if this costs less then 100$ maybe a budget build makes more sense.

i know a few.. discovered the Quasiperiodical Crystals. clean batterys. a way to detach hydrogen from water. the Solar hot water. the wall radar. a lot of medicine stuff i can't even name them all.Drip irrigation. the Levi plane...at the time it performed better then the F16 and at a lower cost...

i can't seem to understand how having triple channel and a QPI makes a platform more future proof. or better put. what makes I5 not-future-proof? the HD5870X2 analogy is indeed faulty but its the only thing i had on my mind when i written the post. and you are 100% about the artificial pricing...

im not rushing anywhere. from a few benches i saw over at anandtech you could see the cheapest I5 performs very I7ish 920ish. and if you consider the platform price..920 performance for 200$ less then I7 i dont see why people are rushing to get the 920...its like waiting a month before HD5870X2...

i think its the effect of the extra 50MHZ you see there.

as far as i know the 2gb limit is because of the chipset the platform uses. only the desktop variant supports 4gb or RAM [and even there im not sure]

all seems great but the eee 1000he seems like a better choice [those extra 2 hours of battery life are very important to me] other then the shorter battery life this seems to be a nice little netbook [gotta love the 12" screen].

i just want better looking games....i don't see the point of having such a card if you would get over 100 FPS on every game out there maxed out...you get me..i first want better games then! i want better cards. its a funny world. game developers are working hard on putting a leash on todays high...
