Not working here, i install and mb2 says not hardware found, even i updated HDXTHXD.inf with my hwid.

So does that means that x-fi mb software could be used on ANY soundcard, even on sound blaster live 5.1 ? If the answer is yes, then how? I saw the .ids stored here \HADetect\Pid.cab , adding new ids will make the software compatible with more hardware? Thanks a lot

I can live without the equalizer, the problem is that i got the x-fi driver with the appsetup from this driver SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0008 and it says that the audio device supported for the application is not found, so i thought that maybe i would need to install x-fi mb anyway :S

Is the x-fi mb driver needed for that or does it work with just the realtek driver? Thanks

I think only xtreme audio are fake x-fi based on p17 chipset. The other are real x-fi that use hardware crystalizer. I think that software crystalizer based on p17 drivers could be modified to run on live cards but, who knows :S
