I'm a big nvidia fan afther I replaced my hd4850 with gtx285 (bought a second one bit later). But it seems that with ATI the performance/cost ratio is much better. With Nvidia comes green theme.
will make more pictures of inside too. I don't have a decent gpu yet, since my gtx580 died. Also, another funny thing happend when I was installing OS. Used a 32bit version of win 7 - my system has 32gb of ram. Makes my cry when only 2-3Gb is available.
I'm shure I'll get a new and bigger case some day. But I got this case free from a friend. And it wasn't even used. Has good airflow and is small. Sometimes we lan at my friends place and it's a good case to transport. Well I'll remove the MB heatsink carefully and see what can be done. Post...

sawing was only I crrazy idea and I wasn't going to do that anyway. It would lower the value of the motherboard when I decide to sell it. But replacing the heatsnink might work. The stock heatsink seemst to be a block of metal and gpu vram aluminum ribs might even be better?
case has two 120mm fanholes on top. I can't even install 120mm fans there because of the MB heatsink. I found a video of elite430 and h100. radiator was inside the case and fans were outside. Ok, fans outside the case - no big deal. But shurely the radiator won't fit in the case either. I was...
I'm planning to put corsair h100 liquid cooler in the case. My case is CM Elite 430 and MB is MSI X79A-GD45(8D). Motherboard top heatsink is the problem. it's too big. Question is, can I remove it, is there somekind of aftermarket solution for it? Or do I need a bigger case?
