Yes, it's the PerfCap Reason (which I couldn't see the name of most of the time). Clicking the first link explained the bug I experience. Oddly enough, before I clicked the link, I took a screenshot of the GPU-Z window and the bug seemed to resolve itself. Now it appears normal. Thanks again...

I recently upgraded from a 6850 and never had this issue with that card, but now I have a GTX 970 and if I don't have GPU-Z as the active window, so it's sitting in the "background", it won't refresh. It happens no matter what other window I am in.. if GPU-Z is not the focus, it will not refresh...
