I will try resetting the BIOS to defult in a few minute's... as for the MS support, I think it needs a little support itself as it told me to check audio device haha. nevermind.
The BIOS is very very basic - Doesn't have the option.
Hmmm just got the laptop back to me, looked in the control panel there isn't even the "Sounds, Video and Game Controllers" option in the drop down - now to me this is saying there isn't even a sound device installed whatsoever... surely...
Right... took your advice and still no luck, I have a feeling it is the Realtek driver I need however, it lets me install the drive software and restart as required.. and then bamm no difference "no audio output device is installed" :(
@mastrdrver: Sorry I totally missed that before, but anyway's no I haven't... I've not come across this before either would you mind telling me the basics to do this? :)
Using everest It says "Intel 82801GBM ICH7-M - High Definition Audio Controller [B-0] PCI" but searching google and I'm not coming across any driver for it, nor on the Intel website.
... As you can see another BSOD driver irq not less or equal!
This is really annoying me now... there is only so many times a day I can deal with this :(
