I would never buy the Ti4400 or the Ti4800 back in the day, It was the Ti4200 which could overclock past those speeds at a MUCH cheaper price! And the 9500Pro which could be modded into a 9700 ^.^ (4 pipe into an 8 pipe card!) Also Mussles Half Life 1 runs perfect on a Geforce 2/Radeon...

It's actually a rather small decrease in performance going from PCI-E to AGP, I don't think we have quite saturated that bus as of yet.

Yeah I do remember that card actually, but looking back on it now, most people are probably glad they didn't buy it, because it actually performs rather horridly in the latest games which have become more shader dependant.

Definatly a shame, Laptops are to expensive and limited in they're options when it comes to upgrading and getting more performance.

Maybe, It's only using up 69Mb of memory. (I removed all the useless services). Here's an Idea, you might be able to upgrade you're graphics card if you're laptop uses the MXM standard.

You can't overclock you're processor? This is Interesting. You're processor should be much much gruntier than Mine is, You also have double the amount of ram, which is also faster than mine. And My Video card is only a 64mb Mobility 9700pro (Basically a desktop 9600Pro). Let me guess...

The Radeon 7000 is Basically the Radeon VE, In that it has no Pixel or Vertex Shading, and no TnL in order to cost reduce. But... One feature it -does- have is the Hardware Accellerated DVD playback capability's, and the chance it could be modded into a Radeon 7200 or a 7500. Still, good...

Pentium M 1.6ghz (Dothan) @ 2.0ghz - 400mhz increase! It basically went from 100x16 to 125x16. 3D mark 2001SE jumped from 8k to 10k. Mobility Radeon 9700Pro Stock 400/200 @ 510/260. Plus I tweaked my Drivers and now I am at 14 thousand 3Dmarks. Crysis is running like butter on low settings...
