PS5 will use a 8 core Zen 2 along with a Navi GPU. AMD's design philosophy revolves around modularity and reusability. The 8 core Zen 2 chiplet will drive the entire range of AMD products. Here is how i think we will see Zen 2 core counts end up.

I am surprised that AMD is using GF 12LP and Samsung 11LPP. Since both support CPP=78nm 9T libraries and are derived from 14LPP this is possible. I am interested in seeing if AMD can do the same for Zen+ Pinnacle Ridge to better meet demand given the shortage of Intel CPUs in DIY market...
Thats the sad state of PC tech journalism on the internet. Anybody can post any junk and it gets published to get page clicks. Anyway we have to endure such crap till early August when RX Vega arrives.
I meant GF 7nm process known as GF 7LP should be very competitive with Intel second gen 10nm process known as 10+ in terms of transistor density, performance and efficiency . This would help AMD design competitive Zen 2 CPU which can hit 5 Ghz clocks. If you want more explanation I could send a...
Intel 10nm should be slightly higher density than GF 7LP. GF 7LP Transistor performance and power efficiency will be very with Intel 10nm. The direct comparison of products built on the processes would be Icelake on 10+ vs Zen 2 on 7LP in 2019.
GF 7LP is shaping up to be a very competitive process node against Intel 10nm and TSMC 7nm. There is a high performance version optimized for 5 Ghz operation.

7nm Zen 2 is likely to be designed using this...
No reviews for the Titan X. Why is Nvidia not sampling this card to reviewers. How do they expect a consumer to buy a card without seeing reviews ? Nvidia's dominance of the GPU market is letting them get away with such rubbish.
wizzard
Why was the 16.7.3 whql drivers not used for this review ? This driver bought significant gains for Rx 480 in RoTR especially in DX12. hexus used that for the Sapphire Nitro Rx 480 OC review . the review came out on 29th July (3 days before this review)...
wizzard I think you should evaluate the use of geometric mean for average calculations as it might give the more accurate relationship between the 2 cards. Just to give an example. Here is what a post on anandtech highlighted about the problem with arithmetic mean...
This card is found at prices from USD 419-449 at newegg.

To post perf/$ at USD 379 is downright disingenuous and intentionally misleading the consumer. The tech press seems to be an extension of...
Looks like AMD GE titles have also started resembling Nvidia Gameworks titles at launch - buggy, unstable and pretty much broken. Sad state of affairs for PC gaming.
This card is meant to sell off the remaining Fiji GPUs and clear the way for Polaris later this year. This card is also being used to seed VR developers and academic institutions who are going to have VR courses. Crytek will be using the Radeon Pro Duo in their VR First program...
So now you are asking me to see if the fiji dual GPU card aka Fury x2 will fit into Quantum. You made a statement without any confirmative proof and now you want me to disprove your statement or rather prove mine. how nice. so thats why I said do your homework. oh btw I don't give a damn if you...
