ASUS Radeon RX 6800 STRIX OC

Thanks for not blindly using MSRP. Great job. Any chance of changing perf. per. $ chart to reflect 3080 at $1100-1150?

Whole EFT sound system is almost irrepairably broken, even after many updates. There are many videos about it on Youtube. I like this one where you can hear several different scenarios.

NVIDIA Quietly Relaxes Certification Requirements for NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate Badge

No, there's no max black level in the FIRST webpage I linked. edit: okay, it's at the bottom of the page.

NVIDIA Quietly Relaxes Certification Requirements for NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate Badge

I see no contrast ratio requirements here. edit: OK, I see something here but I'd have to check if those can be achieved without local dimming.

NVIDIA Quietly Relaxes Certification Requirements for NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate Badge

New semi-pro Panasonic OLED has beefier power supply and does it full-screen. It has no ABL (automatic brightness limiter) at all. Is it not possible to enable HDR mode and disable local dimming hence getting ~1000 nits and standard 2000:1 contrast?

Before it was gamma boost, removal of vegetation and shadows, crosshair where it shouldn't be (Tarkov). Now we add real-time audio compression to that list. Yeah I know it was a software thing before but usually not marketed as a feature. It's sad that you have to pick between immersion and...

We're Changing How we Handle Pricing in Graphics Card Reviews

One way would be to look at the second Steam hardware survey since 3080 appeared and conclude the per-month growth of 3080 is very similar to that of 1080 back in the day. Another is to talk with retailers and hear the absolute tiny amounts of discrete GPUs they offer. Overall supply is low and...

We're Changing How we Handle Pricing in Graphics Card Reviews

I welcome this. I asked you something similar months ago without answer. I'd also welcome interactive performance/price graph where one can input local prices of several GPUs and (maybe?) even discars certain games they have no interest in playing. Thanks for this!

RTX 3080 already show up in Steam Hardware Survey, more than 200k units sold worldwide ?

Here is Mindfactory sales data for week 48. Unless you own stock, I find this Stockholm syndrome to be quite bizzare. Amount of Ampere cards (not dies) sold is definitely not significantly higher than what Pascal had in the same time period.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition

Sorry, what? From another person: That would make 980 grow 0.07% per month 1080 grow 0.12% per month 2080 grow 0.06% per month 3080 grow 0.09% per month Not unprecedented number of sales by any stretch of imagination.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition

Are you continuing to add performance per dollar page to new reviews as a tradition? It's confusing at best and misleading at worst. Either link it to crawler that checks for availability or don't include it.

Watch Dogs Legion Benchmark Test & Performance Analysis

That's not a linear relationship. 1.5 million fps is not 50% "smoother" to look at than 1 million fps. 15000 kbps music is not 50% clearer to listen to than 10000 kbps music.
