SO about 10% faster than AMD Ryzen 9 5950X in multi threading. 11841+10%=13025.1

Buy a second hand 5600x : ~20K. Get a new Asrock B550, it should cost about ~11K.

changed it to 1, restarted. after the change i am getting "Config: use all coprocessors"in the logs. but no effect.

I need some help in configuring BOINC to use both GPUs. I just installed the 1050ti from my other CPU to my main one, so that i can do some WCG tasks with it. BOINC is running 2 GPU tasks but they are running on only my main GPU:1060. i have tried updating the cc_config.xml file and it showing...

ya, like adding 2 cores that don't take any power.

+1, my Ryzen 1700 doesn't like MIPS at all. gives about 45% output when compared to OET or OZ.

Still having some power issues st my new place. will try to get the system working as log as possible.

Relocating to new apartment so system will be down for few days.

Very nice.:toast: Just 1 concerns, how are the VRM temps at full loads? In a case top mounted fan or the backside fans usually keep the temps in check but there is no cooling for it now. EDIT: I am also not sure about the vertically mounted HDD.

About 4 years back bought a i7 2600 from someone for about $130, which was a good deal at the time and i was running an atom dual core as my main system, so was a big upgrade. Bought it, came back home, tried to impress my wife by telling her what a good deal i got and then dropped the processor...

Congrats on you new laptop. Just a heads-up, i am not sure if you will have an issue with the latest Radeon drivers but my 2 laptops with AMD APUs had issues with them.

Just reached home to find the system on the login screen.:banghead:. Something went wrong on 29th and the system restarted. System up and crunching/folding, lets see if it is stable.
