I took a look at the motherboard you suggested and it got greeat reviews but apparantly the graphics is handicapped because the PCIe slot doesn't perform at 16x :(

i dont need raid at all... im not going to use it... just good on board graphics for now (till i buy a graphic card), with HDMI and Opticla Audio out, thats my only two must have requirements

ok i'll try this in about an hour, i hope it don't brick my graphic card cuz i dont have another. yhea the rams overclock is pretty shoddy,i have it at 525mhz stable, cant go know higher, i can get the core to 570mhz stable, any higher and it can get a bit touchy. because my chip is an R423...

i checked and the memory is 1.6ns oh the meory is 520Mhz and the core 540MHz, cuz i was looking on the bios download bit and it said it was higher but i may have read wrong.

well i have been playing around with it, i have my core stable at 570 and the ram at 525, i reckon the ram could be more stable but i dont know how you change the voltage and if i could get the specs of 590 for core and 540 for ram then it would be an X850 XT Pe wont it in terms of stats?

actually i found the X1900 Pro 256MB Ram GDDR3 by Sapphie or the same by MSI for ten pounds more, much difference between makes? does GDDR3 and GDDR 4 make a big difference?
