Well, I think I found the problem, my vcore was at 1.470, and I just changed it to 1.350 , and now my temps aren't going above 50c.

So I just got my new case, and HSF. My temps are now at 28c idle, and around 56-58c load. I'm still a little worried about the load temp, maybe it'll drop when AS5 cures.

Okay, so I made up my mind, I'm going with the HAF 922, and I'm gonna get the coolermaster hyper 212 plus instead of that zalman. I've been reading some great things about the hyper 212.

Well from what I've read the max temperature for a 955 is 62c. I'm going to get a new heatsink, AS5, and a new case. Also is there any way to tell what's the temp limit on the cpu before it shuts down?

It's the copper one. My temperature in my house is around 60-70f, and I don't have any tool to manually check the processor's temp.

I just recently upgraded my pc, but I ran into a problem, my processor seems to be overheating when I play games or use something like prime95.
