You never once mention how the Fury X is more future proof... I'm really trying to be unbiased in my selection, but you're not helping hahaha

Yeah, I'm pretty much all set for the 980 ti unless something happens and AMD unleashes some massive driver update that magically gives the fury x another 10fps or so. It's MYR 3,000 for the Fury X against 2,800 for the 980ti. As for the price, well, I can afford the upgrade, and I want to...

But if like to put everything at ultra and just go! Seems like either one of these cards will be the temporary end game :D ;) Only a 980ti can give me maxed out performance at 1080p for games like Witcher 3... Or so I'm told...

Well, for someone like me who doesn't game in 4k but would like to in the future, getting a card that is capable of doing that now would make it possible for incremental upgrades that doesn't break the bank every once in a while. I'm not excited, but I have a small warm, fuzzy feeling that...

Yeah... What's the point of AA when you have massive pixel density?

    Next upgrade

r9-290 is in and it runs at a smooth 42FPS @ high presets. I'm a happy gamer. I'm just gonna settle for the i5-4460 instead because they are running a massive promo for it. I suppose there won't be bottlenecks that I will notice?
