AMD's all new Phenom II's are tricky. If it is possible at all 790GX mainboards, that is a new option against risky phenom II x3 720's 4th core.

Could you tell us you mainboard model and your processor code?

Arctic Silver has good thermal pastes. İt differs about 20 C from a low quality thermal paste.

They should also make an upadte for enabling the 4th core on Phenom II x3s. Only ACC is not enough.

press Ctrl + F1 or Ctrl F2 while in bios main screen. It enables some hidden menus in gigabyte boards. Maybe it works. Also try to check official users guide book of your motherboard to open ACC. Good luck..

Is there anyone here who can unclocks 4th core? It is claimed that after 51the week of 2008 Processors are able to this with a SB750 south bridge chipset motherboard.

With unlocked 4th core, in which frequency latest stable your Phenom II x3 720? It will be very nice 3,8 GHz wtih 4 cores:)

I live in Istanbul and its a proud for me to see a processor name Istanbul. But this processor is server type. What about AMD's desktop PC 6 core processors?

O have tried to give 1,3V to my HD4670's GPU bu it doesn't works. I use a Palit HD4670 512mb and I am stable at GPU:813 MHz Memory:1150 MHz

very good result on your HD4670. I am using WinXP 32 bit. Maybe it makes differance on latest GPU clock

After installing Catalyst 9.1 my Palit HD4670's memory can be overclocked higher. But GPU doesn't go higher. My latest stable speeds with Rivatuner 2.22; GPU : 813 MHz Memory: 1175 MHz
