Hi, I know. But check the article we have all been commenting out as it (at the time of writing) still states ". . . because while Opteron 6100 "Interlagos" has . . ." as thus would imply the 6100 series to be Bulldozer-based... which it isn't...
I am confused:
6100 Opterons feature up to 12 cores - yes
6200 Opterons will be Interlagos - yes?
so 6100 is a) not Interlagos or b) does have up to 16 cores
Please correct the article if I might have found a source of misunderstanding. Thanks...
If one wants e.g. HDMI 1.4a features (and/or the DDR-1333 support) the E-450 i.e. Zacate refresh is the way to go.
See e.g. http://www.anandtech.com/show/4660/amd-updates-brazos-with-e450-e300-and-c60-apus
They have a nice table/figure that shows what is what. Google for more, if needed.
Well I do see the point... It the Zacate has only Single-Channel RAM capabilities, in essence it would not even need a second RAM slot except for the purpose of adding more RAM (but, as you surely know, performance wise it does not contribute). ATX, mATX --> Who cares? (except those paying...
I expect exactly (as from every product) "in advance" nothing.
Even when tests are out, and you all know that, those could/can be made to represent what you want it to say. In essence, Llano reviews rarely grasped what the APU as opposed to the "just" CPU was supposed to achieve (remember the...
Keep in mind what Llano is actually targeting plus current Llano only can do their rated
1866 ram speeds at up to 2 module. In essence, putting 2 slots, particularly on such a
value board is typically (not necessarily for you) plenty.
