I dislike war games myself.....Im not a fan of any realistic war, fantasy types like UT or quake series are ok though in my opinion.

COD2 is better in SP mode, BF2 is the best multi player game out there. Theres more to do in BF2 (flyin copters, drivin tanks, etc).

I set AA to app pref AF to 16x AF vsynch ON 1280 x 1024 all ingame detail set to HIGH runs good here with these settings. btw, I used EXPRESS INSTALL & the game installed in less then 90 seconds!

Anytime u wanna adjust vid card settings: Right click on desktop, Properties/Settings/Advanced: In here u can adjust whatever u want. I just installed the game, put AA @ application preference.....It runs like a dream here & looks pretty good too. No updates or patches on it either...

Halo has caused problems for many....AA (anti aliasing) does NOT work for this game & if u have it enabled in D3d (Halo uses d3d not Open GL) settings it will slow down your system. There may be a patch out by now correcting the problem, I haven't played Halo in over a year.

300 fsb on a .90 silicon cpu is real easy. Im doin over 300 fsb on an orig Clawhammer (crappy mem controller)... a lot depends on the mobo, if it isn't DFI you are ripping yourself off. No other brand is nearly as good for clockin, not even close.

Game developers only care about money....that being said games are often rushed out far too soon which is why the same old same old... The technology is now here to make incredible games, it may take a few more yrs for a release to come out that'll blow people away as they all try to compete...

LDT tranfer rate X FSB = HTT tranfer rate. You LOWER the LDT rate as you increase the FSB. (Ex. 240 fsb you want LDT rate at 4x, 240 x 4=960) (Ex. 312 FSB you want LDT rate @ 3x= 936) Keep end result as close to 1000 as possible BUT DONT go over 1,000. Unless u like instability. :D
