    Laptop External Video Solution

Hi, I have a Dell Latitude E7240 with an i5 4300U, and I've been trying to do some classic gaming on it (Unreal Tournament, Duke Nukem, etc), but while monitoring the temperatures, it gets quite hot and approaches 100 C, so I'd like to get something to offload the graphics processing.I have...

    Good USB NAS?

Hey, I'm looking for a good way to connect my 2TB external USB drive to my network. Right now, I have a Cirago NUS2000, but it's driving me crazy (file transfers have to be babied by retrying them every 15 minutes, inexplicably locks me out every now and then, the usual cheap hardware...

    Bioshock Infinite

Finished this game a few days ago, and wow, what a game. Only complaint was that there was a lot of downtime in between battles, but overall that was a pretty minor setback.

    [WTB][US] Radeon HD 6950/7850/7870 2GB

My 4870 is finally aging, so now I feel like it's the right time to upgrade. As long has it has at least 2GB of VRAM, any 6950/7850/7870 will do. If you're interested in selling me one of these cards, please drop me a line! Heatware Thanks! Card found!

    [FS/FT] Sapphire Radeon 1GB HD 4890

Well, long story short, I bought a 4890 to crossfire with my 4870. Turns out my apartment limits my bedroom to 7.5 amps instead of the usual 15, so if the cards go into full force, I trip the circuit breaker, so I cannot use this anymore in crossfire  The card works great though. It'll...

They are slipstream fans, here's the link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185060 Mine are pretty loud as well. I'm going to hook them up to my fan controller soon so I can turn it down during light use. They do a good job, but the noise might be a bit unbearable. 1900...

Why I'm now an Apple fan...

Online I read bad things about Apple's customer service, but just about every single person I talked to physically has been happy. Interesting phenomenon. I'm not a big fan of Apple, and after that lawsuit over the patents, I will probably never buy an Apple product, unless it is absolutely...

    Question about SSDs?

It shouldn't be a problem. I've never read anything about it being problematic. 20 GB might be a bit small though, depending on the OS you are using. I have a Samsung 830, and I love it. Best upgrade I've ever done to my computer.
